Refund Policy

Try it before you pay

Every account starts on the free plan, which includes 25 verifications per month with no card on file. Students with a .edu email get Pro features at no cost. You can see exactly what the service does before you are ever charged, which is the best refund policy we can offer.

14-day money back on your first payment

If you subscribe to Pro and it is not what you expected, email support@veridictum.legal within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. This applies to the monthly and the annual plan alike.

Canceling

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your Pro access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account then returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted when you downgrade.

After the first 14 days

Renewal payments are not automatically refunded, because you can cancel before any renewal and keep the access you paid for. If something went wrong — you were charged after canceling, charged twice, or the service was unavailable for a meaningful part of your billing period — write to us and we will make it right.

How refunds are issued

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We do not store your card details at any point.
